HOW TO CHOOSE A GOOD DIGITAL CAMERA

Cameras have come a long way from the days when we were using roll films & prints to capture pictures. Now even a decent DIGITAL Camera can be bought for less than Rs.5,000/-. There are many MISCONCEPTIONS regarding what constitute a decent camera with the bare minimum acceptable technical SPECIFICATIONS.  More then 5 Megapixels is not required if you want to print maximum size photos of 7x5 inch. More important are the minimum time for taking the pictures i.e. Processor Speed, Maximum Flash Range which should be more than 15 feet, the camera display size and resolution, and battery back-up time.

You should also look for zoom function while taking video shots as most of the cheaper Cameras do not have this function. HDTV video resolution is also becoming common and this will improve your videos. So, these are a few tips on choosing a decent Digital Camera.
